Life is all about making things easier and providing a helping hand to those who are less fortunate. It is also about creating value, not just devouring it.
Adding something to the world that only you can. Because only you have the power to do so. Contributing to the creative process and touching the life of another person. That is all life asks of us. How you choose to do that, is entirely up to you.
What does this have to do with Wizart? Well, in all honesty, everything. Solving billion problems is all we do or at least hope to do. Making the lives of others better in any small way is all we can hope to achieve.
That’s where #CodeForChange comes in.
This is a social movement aiming to educate the masses (especially young minds) on the benefits of computer programming and how that can change their world. Yes. Change their world. We know that is a big dream but at Wizart, we chose not to focus on that. What if it works? That’s all we care about. We believe that the lives of many can change for the better. Young minds learning how to write instructions for computers to execute will lead to more inventors and creative tech innovators. Exactly what the world needs. More people creating value.
Getting this knowledge to young minds and letting their imagination explode is the end game. This will lead to innovative solutions to problems we have had or new ones that keep coming up every single day. Kenyan problems that only we know deeply and only we can solve. Who said we cannot be a country recognized for its tech and not only its athletes (who we are very proud of) and agriculture sector as our main source of income? We are only limited by our imagination and determination.
We, at Wizart, believe we can get there if we work together.
How will we do that?
We are calling out to all developers and code enthusiast to get in touch with us so that we can share with them our plan of reaching out to young people and teaching them how to code.
Think of this as a way of giving back to the society. You teaching your skills to young, open, willing minds and sharing your ideas with them.
This is also a call to action to IT firms. Your resources and expertise will be hugely helpful and highly appreciated. Together, we can make a difference. For the better of course.
